Worlde Arcane: The Great Hall Of Guilds:
The Terajin Wizards Guilde

Terajin Wizards Guild

Background: The Terajin Wizards Guild, and the corresponding School of Magick, have been around for a very long time. For the most part, it keeps to itself, rarely involving itself in the convoluted and often cut-throat politics of the great City of Terajin. The Guilde performs the following functions: runs the School of Magick and the Library; provides counceling and arbitration services to its members; authenticates magick ability for the purpose of employment references; provides components and paraphernalia of good quality at reasonable prices. The Guilde is run by a Council of Mages, which is headed by the Guilde Master.

Applicants: Anybody can apply for apprenticeship to a Wizard or as a student to the School of Magick. Any Wizard can apply to the Guilde for membership. All students, apprentices and guilde members are expected to follow their respective codes of conduct, which can pretty much summed up as: follow the law and don’t cause trouble.

Ranks:

The Guilde Master: currently a Uman by the name of Crystobal. Behind his back, his friends call him ‘Crystal Ball’ and his non-friends call him ‘Crystal Balls’. Oh, what a difference one little letter makes. The Guilde Master is elected by the Council for a period of 12 years.

Master Mage: as the name implies, these are very powerful Wizards. Many of the Council members are Master Mages.

Wizard: a regular member of the Wizards Guilde.

Professor: a Wizard who teaches at the School of Magick. Has easy access to the Laboratories and the Library.

Code Of Conduct:

Article I All members of the Guilde must pay membership dues in full and on time.

Article II Violence of any kind against another Guilde Member is prohibited. All disputes unresolvable through discourse or study will be taken before the Council. All Council decisions are final.

Article III Guilde Members are expected to follow the laws of the City of Terajin and to be ‘good citizens’.

To petition for Membership, seek out a Master Mage, or contact Crystobal directly.
