Worlde Arcane: Gning Nar: Malador Lake
 Picture courtesy of Free Jungle Pictures At first glance, the lake seems nothing more than a beautiful pool of dark blue water standing out against the surrounding jungle. Closer inspection, however, leads to an assault on one's sense of smell and a gruesome sight: skeletal remains dot the beach as well as the corpses of animals and men who have not yet reached that level of decay. It is said that eons ago a powerful wizard ruled the continent of Gning Nar, with his home by Malador Lake. There are whispers that just prior to his death he buried some of his prized treasure at the bottom of the lake, then cast an unknown curse as an added protection. Whether the curse is on the water of the lake itself or if some strange creatures lurk in the dark depths, Malador Lake's beauty belies its danger. |
