Worlde Arcane: The Vericul Sea: Silver beamed Yacht

Docked secluded from other ships the yacht of Lord Sarpendon casts an eerie mirage across the lapping waters. Its stern seems to be made from silver metal and not a blemish marks its pearl white flanks. The sail bears a symbol well known to those who walk in certain paths, the green snake rising from a black egg.

Though crewman carry out trade and cargo missions daily well armed, stern looking guards prevent any from approaching.

Dara scrambled upon to the deck and stood near the prow and whispered out aloud.

"What now Khali?"

She stared about herself afraid of discovery or that one of the automatons might try to stop her.

"Relax girl...my brothers will do the rest." came the soft reply in her mind.

She took a breath and closed her eyes and slowly opened them again. A deep blue light was gathering in front of her, it crackled and burned, brighter than anything she had ever seen. It was the life force and magicks of the remaining drakes, their last great sacrifice to free their King and ally.

"Step into the light N'Dara....do not be afraid." Khali soothed in her mind.

Closing her eyes again, Dara walked forward thinking of her brother and Zan and whispering a short prayer to the Goddess to keep her safe, there was a sudden almighty boom and then she felt nothing.

The light dissipated and the girl had vanished, the ship had gone dark, the last remaining drake life force that fuelled its lights and internal magicks was spent...gone....nothing remained. The automatons stared blankly unable to understand what had just happened.
