Worlde Arcane: Thapelel: The Sengal Road
 Map by Sphinx This is the only major road in Thapelel.It runs from Kioko Rinn to Tanyel's Cause parallelling the Sengal River. It has a few branches heading to various town along its route, as well as a few unofficial paths. There are few brigands and cutthroats on this road, the Thapelelian Knights patrol it frequently, but robberies and hijacks have been known to occur. In general the road is well travelled, with merchants and traders as well as other travellers using it regularly. The ease of access to the Sengal River for most of its length also increases the amount of traffic in some areas. The road has been marked along its stretch, informing the traveller of the travel time to either of the the main ports of the continent. The northern reaches of the road still boast the occasional layway huts that are open to any travellers who wish to use them. They are usually outfitted with wood and a water barrel. These used to be more common along the southern stretch, however, most of these were destroyed by the Lamians during the war and they have never been rebuilt. |
