Daelows Kingdom
 The Kingdom of Daelows is one of the oldest areas in Aniada. Its history dates back as far as the wise old men can remember. The Kingdom is known most for the knowledge that resides within its Universities, Academies and Libraries. The Army of Daelows is one of the largest standing armies in the Worlde, and is renowned and feared even by the Skylds, because of the great efficiency and leadership it portaits. The red and white banners of Daelows are recognized far and wide as waving over the Force of Civilization in the Worlde. Chief among these are the personal bodyguards of the King and Royal Family, a crack unit of troops known as the Immortals, and the Heavy Cavalry. The three main cities of the Kingdom are Daelows City, where King Albion Silverblade holds court, Trinsic, where the Mage Guild is located, and ElHazir, a port city renowned for its trade. The roads going into the kingdom are very well guarded and patrolled often by the men, recognizable by the purple sash worn by each, known as the 'Peoples Guard'. This is what would be thought of in a city as the municipal guard, though the Peoples Guard also patrol the highways within the kingdom. |
