The Lowlands are the low-lying coastal region framed by ElHazir, Daelows City and Trinsic. The Inner Isles lie offshore, some islands are visible from shore on a clear day.
The region is relatively fertile, with sandy beaches and crisscrossed by numerous roads and tracks, as well as having access to both the Wizard's Way and South Way highways. Farms and fishing make up the bulk of the economy. Some vineyards grow on the sheltered west slopes of hills.
Weather is mild most of the year, but winters are harsh, with heavy snowfalls inland. And late in the year, gales can lash against the shore with incredible force, making winter and spring reconstruction a constant reality.
